When is the RSVP deadline?
August 31, 2025
Are kids welcome?
Fortunately, kids are not allowed at this adults-only venue!
Can I bring a date?
If you are single and you can get a date, then go ahead. We don't recommend bringing a date if you're already married. Yikes; but who are we to judge? Please, just let us know you are bringing a plus one.
What will the weather be like?
The weather in late September can be either hot or comfortably cool. Prepare for both! Typically, we see daytime temperatures around 21°C (70°F) and nighttime temperature drops to about 12°C (54°F). Overall: September in Montreal is generally mild and pleasant, making it a good time for outdoor activities and exploring the city. Fall colors in Montreal typically begin to emerge in late September and peak by mid-October.
Where should I park?
There’s no private parking at the venue, but you’ll find some street parking and a few lots within a 5-minute walk. Spots can be tricky to find, so we recommend using a taxi, rideshare, public transit, or having a designated driver. Safe and sober driving is a must, however if you are soused enough to rent a Bixi bike, we won't try to stop you. We will, however, point and laugh and tag your awkward new photos on social media. Otherwise, let's keep it stress-free.
What should I wear?
Chic vibes only: Cocktail attire encouraged—leave the sneakers, sweats, spandex, and studded leather chaps at home. It's gauche to compete with the bride's mother.
What if my mobility is impaired?
Entry and exit to Le Bureau should pose no problem, however do note that the multiple unisex toilets are located down a narrow flight of stairs. This could prove to be great fun depending on your own level of inebriation. Think Cooper's Hill Cheese Roll. We will setup a Go-Pro at the bottom of the staircase to capture the spectacle.
Where Is Your Gift Registry?
The only thing we want is your presence at our celebration. Our lives are abundant and it's our turn to give back to our family and friends. At the end of the night take home some extra pieces of cake and a traffic cone. We have enough.
Are you gonna feed us?
Of course we will feed you! You should know us by now; both Sandra and John are constitutionally incapable of not stuffing some tasty morsel down their top-hatches every couple of hours. As you are one of our friends and/or relatives, we know you share our same values. Don't forget there will be cake!
We will also be providing wine, beer and assorted cocktails. Soft drinks will also be available (with minimal judgement from the Irishman!).
What's the schedule for this soirée?
You can come and go anytime between 5pm and midnight. This is not a formal event so enjoy the party at your convenience.
I have a question that was not answered here.
If this page didn't cover it, feel free to email or call John or Sandra regarding the event; for anything else consult your clergy.
